Working with our team you can be engaged in a wide variety of jobs, use and develop your own skills, especially supervising the activities young people will be engaged in, in a variety of settings. Contact us. Welcome Centre: this project provides food parcels, home starter packs, hygiene packs to people often referred to us from a variety of caring agencies. Volunteers could help out in the food store, office, assist with cookery sessions, or help in fund raising. Computing And Training (CAT) Facility: offers courses for complete novices to experienced PC users. There will be drop-in sessions (from 2010) for anyone who wants to practice their skills, or just want to know how to do a job search on-line, write a letter or CV, download digital images and so on. Volunteer tutors are always needed to teach courses. Mission Office and Reception: this is the administrative and advice centre of the Mission. It is a busy spot. Can you offer a welcome, direction, support or help to the variety of people who contact us - users, visitors, trades people and suppliers. Can you deal with the unpredictable, manage all kinds of people, direct people to what they need and where they need to be? If you could offer a few hours a week contact us. Street Angels: this organisation uses the Mission Café as a base to walk the streets of Huddersfield Town Centre and bring the love of God, in a practical way, to many people.
