The basic unit of Methodism is the Circuit, which is a network of churches working as a team. Huddersfield Methodist Mission is part of the Huddersfield Pennine Circuit, which is made up churches in Crosland Hill, Gledholt, Golcar, Lindley, Linthwaite, Marsden, Mount, Netherton, Newsome, Outlane, Paddock, Parkwood and Slaithwaite. Our neighbouring Circuit is Huddersfield East which is composed of churches in Almondbury, Bradley, Cowcliffe, Dalton, Fartown, Kirkheaton, Lepton and Shelley. On 1st September 2011 these two circuits will combine to form a new Huddersfield Circuit with 22 churches working together.Nineteen Circuits form the West Yorkshire Methodist District. It covers Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Craven and Dales geographical areas.
